Transitional Director
John is currently volunteering as the Transitional Director of the Guelph Tool Library as they prepare to hire an Executive Director in 2025. John’s passion is finding a new home for unwanted items or exploring how to share resources that often are overlooked or wasted. You will often find John at the Tool Library fixing broken tools or driving around town picking up donations.
Steph Clarke
Communications and Outreach Coordinator
Steph has worn a number of hats at the Guelph Tool Library since 2017. With a background in art and costume design, and a passion for social change, Steph enjoys providing creative, hands-on programs that teach practical skills for waste reduction and sustainable living, and helping the Guelph Tool Library expand and grow to support a hyper-local circular economy.
Kim Logue
HR/Finance Consultant and Program Facilitator
Kim is facilitating the Living Better on Less For Seniors program. Kim is enthusiastic about projects relating to sustainability, circular economies and local food. She is creative and community minded with a diverse arts, culture and business background.
Alyssa Vanderkooy
Program Facilitator
Alyssa is the new Facilitator for the Living Better on Less for Youth program. Alyssa will be creating a new module of the program and teach it in partnership with Wyndham House. Alyssa’s passions include hanging out with teenagers and walking with them through life. Alyssa loves to visit local coffee shops and check out new hiking trails while chatting with friends.
Leah Kunau-Catherwood
CSJ – Student Librarian
Leah is the new student librarian for the Summer. She has a fondness for reading, writing and various sports. She is excited to be a part of the next chapter at GTL and take initiative surrounding her passion for sustainability and knowledge. Leah is an ambitious learner who wants to use that skill to further the GTL’s mission and make new connections.
