John is currently volunteering as the Director of the Guelph Tool Library as they prepare to hire an Executive Director. John’s passion is finding a new home for unwanted items or exploring how to share resources that often are overlooked or wasted. You will often find John at the Tool Library fixing broken tools or driving around town picking up donations.
Zara Miller
Operations Manager
Zara has been a tool library member since 2020 and a repair volunteer since 2026. She’s excited to bring her expertise of wearing many hats and reducing friction between ideas and implementation to the Guelph Tool Library. When she’s not at the Tool Library, you can find her tinkering around in a makerspace.
Kim Logue
HR/Finance Consultant and Program Facilitator
Kim is facilitating the Living Better on Less For Seniors program. Kim is enthusiastic about projects relating to sustainability, circular economies and local food. She is creative and community minded with a diverse arts, culture and business background.
Wendy Bauman
Living Better On Less
Wendy is thrilled to be a new addition to the Living Better On Less team, bringing with her a rich and diverse background shaped by a 30-year teaching career in Ontario as well as overseas in Asia and Africa. Recently retired, she has embraced this new chapter by channeling her energy into meaningful projects and community involvement. A long-time practitioner and teacher of Yoga and Buddhism, Wendy is deeply committed to mindful living and personal growth. She also volunteers at the Sunrise Therapeutic Riding Centre in Puslinch, where she enjoys helping others while spending time with horses. During her free time, Wendy enjoys an active lifestyle filled with canoeing, camping, hiking, and swimming, as well as quieter moments spent reading, connecting with family, and sharing coffee with friends.
Amie Ouillette
Library Assistant
Amie is thrilled to join the tool library team, She dedicates her free time to growing fresh food her neighbours and family and is a do it herself enthusiast. Amie rarely sits still and loves tackling new creative challenges; her latest hyperfocus is learning how to make fiber and dye it with local plants. Ultimately, she is happiest working with her hands to create a stronger, more connected community.
