Think Outside the Bin

The Guelph Tool Library is excited to announce that the beloved recycling programs offered at the Circular Store will be coming back to the GTL! We are utilizing a number of free programs offered by Terracycle Canada, and other community recycling initiatives to provide year-round recycling opportunities during our regular hours.

Update: As of Monday, February 24th, Terracycle has stopped accepting a number of brands of flexible coffee packaging through their free recycling program. As a result, the Guelph Tool Library will no longer be able to offer this as a free service.

We would like to gather opinions on whether or not our service users would be open to paying a fee of $0.25/standard size bag (up to 2lb capacity) and $0.50/larger bag (up to 5 lb capacity) to offset the cost of purchasing a recycling box that accepts all brands of flexible coffee packaging.  Please fill out this survey and let us know your thoughts!
