Stitch Mentors was a Guelph Tool Library project that helped our community learn sewing and needlecraft skills from senior mentors over a 5 programs that ran from September 2025-March 2026. Our primary goal was to help share skills across generations, and the programs was open to all ages and skill levels and free to attend, with supplies provided. The program was funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program awarded to us by the Government of Canada.
We hope to bring the program back in late 2026 or early 2027 if we can get the appropriate funding for it.
